Michigan Wolverines vs Iowa Hawkeyes | News Article by handicapper911.com

The B1G Championship game is set and it is most certainly not the two teams that we expected to see here as of 12 EST last Saturday.

Both of these teams were underdogs and came out victorious outright against some red-hot teams. Michigan stepped up and knocked out the bully and Iowa ground out a game against their mirror image.

Michigan did exactly what they needed to do against Ohio State to secure the victory, and jammed it down the Ohio States’ that on offense, and made enough plays with their dominant front seven on defense to get the job done. The Game never felt as close as the score, as Michigan just obliterated Ohio State in the trenches.

Harbaugh’s bunch will look to do the same to an Iowa team that does not have the firepower that the buckeyes did, but they have some ponies up front who can potentially limit the Wolverines on the ground. Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo can make any offensive line look, pedestrian.

Iowa had a hard-fought game against a very tough, gritty Nebraska team. Iowa played their style of game and got the big turnover which was the difference last Saturday.

Iowa can run the ball, but pass protection has been a huge issue, allowing 30 sacks this season. If they can’t get the ground game going and neutralize the Big Blues Brothers, this game is going to get out of hand. Harbaugh has his chance to make it all the way to the national title if they can get this done.
