The Detroit Lions remain the only team in the NFL without a win this season. Despite inspired efforts by players and some incredibly close games, the Lions just haven’t been able to record a win this season, and that drought likely won’t end in Week 13.

Dan Campbell’s squad will try to end their 10-game skid going up against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Although the Vikings are far from a dominant squad this season coming into this game with a losing record of 5-6, Kirk Cousins and company are still without a doubt the better all-around football team with some impressive wins this season over playoff contenders like the Los Angeles Chargers and Green Bay Packers.
Despite a disappointing loss to the San Francisco 49ers last week, the Vikings will be looking to bounce back with a vengeance in Week 13 while taking advantage of a desperate Detroit looking to avoid going winless for the 2021 campaign.
The key to victory for the lowly Lions will be stopping the Vikings offense, which can be as potent as they come with stars like Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson leading the way.
Unfortunately for Minnesota, Cook will miss this divisional matchup with a shoulder injury. Still, the Lions will also be without their star back in D’Andre Swift, who is also dealing with a shoulder injury.
Ultimately, the Vikings will likely be too much to handle for a Lions team that has yet to put it together this season. It could be a closer game than some anticipate as Minnesota can play down to their competition, but in the end, the Vikings will get the win on the road.
