Who has a better chance to win the MLB All-Star game this season? | News Article by handicapper911.com

The MLB All-Star game is upon us. The Mid-Summer Classic will take place in Los Angeles on July 19.

This will be the second All-Star game in Dodger Stadium, and the first since 1980.

This year Dusty Baker of the Astros will lead the American League while Brian Snitker will guide the National League.

The American League is led by Super Star outfield Aaron Judge, Mike Trout, Giancarlo Stanton, and the double All-Star Shohei Ohtani, who made the team as both a DH and a Pitcher.

The rest of the starters include Tim Anderson of the White Sox, Valdimir Guerrero Jr of the Blue Jays, Jose Altuve of the Astros, Alejandro Kirk also of the Blue Jays, and Rafael Devers of Boston.

The National League is loaded as well, despite not having the same star power, especially with Bryce Harper missing the game due to injury. The outfield is loaded with speed and power with Ronald Acuna Jr of Atlanta, Mookie Betts of LA, and the pop of Joc Pederson of San Francisco.

Manny Machado is the Padres representative in the starters, joined by the electric Jazz Chisolm of Miami. Paul Goldschmidt of St Louis and Willson Contreras of the Cubs represent the NL Central, and Trea Turner rounds out the infield.

This game has been dominated by the American League for the last 30 years going 26-6-1 in the last 30 years. This year looks to continue that trend.

The amount of pop that the American league has in that line up along with on-base machines Tim Anderson and Jose Altuve should be tough to keep them from getting a few crooked numbers on the board. The National League may have the horses on the mound though.

Sandy Alcantara of the Marlins has been amazing this season and should get the start of the game wasn’t in Kershaw’s house. If he can get out of the first couple, this game could be close.
