We have a doubleheader Monday Night that involves three playoff teams from last season. Regardless of the week you had at the window, Monday Night Football is always an exciting night to get in on.
Let’s look at the lines and some key trends for this Monday.
Titans (0-1) at Bills (1-0) at 7:15 pm EST on ESPN
The Bills are the home team and also coming in with three extra days of rest after opening the season with a 31-10 road win over the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams.
The Titans blew a 13-0 halftime lead and lost at home to the New York Giants in Week 1.
Buffalo is a 10-point favorite for Monday’s contests, and the total is 47.5. These two teams met in Nashville during Week 6 last season on Monday, and Tennessee won 34-31 outright as a six-point underdog. That game also went over the total of 53.
The Titans are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games as an underdog and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Monday Night games.
The Bills are 2-5-1 ATS in their previous eight Monday games, but they are 8-1-2 ATS in their last 11 against a team with a losing record and 4-0-1 in their previous five games as a favorite.
Regarding the total, the Titans have played to the over in 12 of their last 15 road games, and the over/under is an even 10-10 in Buffalo’s last 20 home games.
Vikings (1-0) at Eagles at 8:30 pm EST on ABC
The Eagles are a 2.5-point home favorite in the final game on the Week 2 schedule, with the total set at 50.5.
In Week 1 the Eagles beat the Lions 38-35 as a six-point road favorite, and the Vikings handled the Packers 23-7 as a 2.5-point home favorite. Monday’s meeting will be the first time the Vikings and Eagles have met since 2019.
Minnesota is just 4-12 in its last 16 Monday games and 3-7 ATS in its last 10 games following a victory. The Eagles are 5-5 ATS in their last 10 Monday games but just 3-14 in their last 17 games in September.
Although this month has not recently been kind to the Eagles, they are 3-0-1 in their last four games as a home favorite.
The over has cashed in nine of the Vikings’ last 11 road games, and the Eagles have played to the over in five straight home games.
How things unfold will be determined on the field, but we definitely have two exciting games to consider wagering on.
